Situation

In January 2024, Branch of the German CARITAS in Tajikistan started the implementation of the second phase of the project “Regional program for older people in Asia 2024-2026”, which is simultaneously being implemented in Tajikistan, Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines.

The overall goal of the project is to assist in ensuring and expanding access of older people (OP) to existing social support measures and to create exemplary models of promising social services in appropriate national conditions, based on the professional competence of social workers.

At this stage, there is a need to hire Technical Support in the field of IT and Translations based on an Agreement for the provision of services, since it is planned to expand the Database for clients, introduce new services and mechanisms for recording time and calculating the cost of services. These measures require regular training of partner teams and consultations with an IT specialist. In addition, during the implementation of this process, there is a need for regular exchange of information and experience between application developers and partner organizations from Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines. All communication within the framework of this project must take place in English and project partners will need to regularly provide reports in English to the head office on the progress of the project and work with the Ninox application.

Tasks:

(1) Explore new features of the Ninox Application with administrator rights. To do this, it is necessary to be in close contact with the developers and the regional project coordinator.

(2) Adapting the Ninox application to the needs of local users, government, and private entities. This requires the Contractor to understand the needs and topic of “social work with older people” and at least have an interest in studying this area.

(3) Train local users, such as Oftobak staff, as well as others in the use of the Ninox application. Adapt the Ninox application as an administrator to changing data collection and record-keeping needs.

(4) Promote the introduction of other IT products into project activities.

(5) Participate in interim meetings with regional project partners from Asia on the Ninox application and other IT products and provide brief reports of the meetings. The working language is English.

(6) Assist in the design of information materials for companies to raise awareness

(7) Translate important project documents related to the implementation of the project and the use of the Ninox application into English for communication with partners and reporting purposes.

(8) Provide a monthly report/act on the work performed.

(9) Ensure IT equipment is regularly maintained.

(10) Monitor network traffic and resolve any internet connection issues.

(11) Monitor software and hardware system updates and recommend enhancements or improvements.

(12) Maintain cyber security and data integrity of the database.

(13) Prepare technical specifications for IT equipment procurement.

(14) Participate in meetings of the tender commission to select an IT equipment supplier.

(15) Monitor the proper functioning of Server hardware.

(16) Ensure frequent data backups of the mission-critical data stored on the server

(17) Provide support to other team members on technical IT issues.

(18) Keep the equipment software up to date.

(19) Perform other IT-related duties.
